Back 2 School Community Block Party
We met the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton for their Back 2 School Block Party! We passed out over 50 pairs of shoes and merchandise to get kids back to school ready. A special thank you to our friends at Nike NA Marketing for their donation towards this effort!

Back to School Drives
We hosted back to school drives in all 3 markets: Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Dayton! Over 1,000 items were collected and supported groups like Lakeside Elementary, GHP’s Back to School Field Day, and the Boys and Girls Club of Dayton!

We partnered with our friends at Taglio Bar & Pizzeria to host a sneaker trivia night! Guests got to win prizes like SneakerBall tickets, Taglio merch, and more in addition to enjoying great pizza & community!

Sports Cycle: Timeout to Discuss Menstruation & Sports
For #womenshistorymonth, BTS teamed up with Girls Health Period to host an open forum led by Coach Estill to discuss menstruation & sports. We had free hygiene products, sports giveaways, and fun activities all while learning how to safely, comfortably, and confidently keep girls active in sports!

JB3 Single Mom's Initiative
Thank you to Jessie Bates III for having BTS part of the 3rd Annual Single Mom’s Initiative. This year’s activities featured: Christmas shopping, a movie night, moms’ night out, haircuts & styles, Topgolf, and a Bengals’ game!!

Winter Coat Distribution
BTS, Dose of Dex, and Taglio Bar + Pizzeria volunteers worked alongside St. Vincent de Paul to distributie over 500 coats and winter accessories to Hamilton County residents! This was part of an ongoing December effort to collect winter coats in Cincinnati & Indianapolis benefitting SVDP & Wheeler Mission in partnership with Dose of Dex.
Winter Apparel Drive
In just two days, nearly 2,000 pieces of winter apparel were collected for the Indiana Youth Group & High Achievers Aim High! This was through the help of our family at Corporate during the release of the A Ma Maniere Air Jordan 1.

Dunk Contest at the BLINK Oasis Hanna Jam
BTS teamed up with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, Corporate, and BLINK to put on a dunk contest! Players were selected through the Smith League to make sure we had the city’s best. The contest’s winner walked away with a $1,000 prize!

Saturday Hoops Resource Closet Unveiling
Our team unveiled the Saturday Hoops resource closet, which was created through the 4th Annual Cincinnati SneakerBall charitable contributions. Everything from new sneakers, apparel, equipment, and more were made available for over 600 kids to use annually. Watch the recap video here!
Footwear Design Workshop
As part of the FranzNFamily Class Tour, they made a stop in Cincinnati for a free footwear design workshop that introduced us to methods designers take when developing our favorite kicks! All attendees had the opportunity to map their design out via tech pack & paint it on a small model to walk away with!

4th Annual Cincinnati SneakerBall
For the 4th Annual Cincinnati SneakerBall, we welcomed over 500 attendees, 22 charitable partners, and 11 activations to the Cincinnati Music Hall, making it our largest & most impactful SneakerBall to date! Thank you to everyone who came out. This year’s proceeds created a resource closet for Saturday Hoops featuring athletic wear, sneakers, equipment, and more for the kids to be comfortable & confident annually at Saturday Hoops’ programming.
Go Hoop Day
Bigger Than Sneakers & Corporate brought the Go Hoop Day celebration back to Cincinnati! This year’s festivities took place indoors for over 75 people, with our youngest hooper being 2 years old! From shooting around and full court games, to free t-shirts and music, we had a great time alongside our community celebrating the only holiday dedicated to the greatest sport ever!
Youth Basketball Mentorship Clinic
We got to partner up with NBA Player, Keifer Sykes, and his organization, the Free 10 Foundation, to host a youth basketball clinic in Indianapolis, IN. About 30 kids were able to get 1:1 mentorship from Keifer, participate in drills, and run a 5 on 5 game at the end.
National Championship
Activation
BTS got to partner with Corporate, US Nike Football, and Canvaas to put on the Grail of All Tailgates, leading up to the 2022 College Football National Championship. As part of the festivities, we invited 4 Indianapolis nonprofits that serve youth in the community to test their football knowledge!

Single Moms’ Initiative
We spent the entire weekend alongside Jessie Bates III and Rise Sports Advisors for Jessie Bates’ Single Moms’ Initiative. For him to use his story as a foundation to give to others is truly inspiring. What a great weekend with such an amazing group of families.
“Free Lunch” Giveaway
James Whitner told us a story through the release of the Social Status “Free Lunch” Dunk and we wanted to follow through with that storytelling in our communities. With the help of Corporate, we were able to give pairs to students in the Cincinnati & Indianapolis Public School Districts. These kids are our future and we want to support them in the best way that we can.

SOCIAL JUSTICE
LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP
Powered by Puma, BTS was able to host a Social Justice Leadership Workshop for the kids of the Greater Cincinnati YMCA. With the workshop led by the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, students had an educational and interactive experience that combined historical consciousness, social justice, and creative design for students during Black History Month.
SHARING HEARTS
& SOULS
From December 4th to 18th of 2020, BTS collected shoes in excellent & new conditions to donate to our friends over at UpSpring! We were able to collect over 300 pairs of shoes that were given to kids in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Areas experiencing homelessness.
GO HOOP DAY
On June 23, 2018 Bigger Than Sneakers will be showing out in support of Go Hoop Day with a youth basketball clinic. Go Hoop Day is the first and only holiday dedicated to the greatest sport on earth. Pre-registration at biggerthansneakers.org, onsite registration available, children under 18 must be registered by an adult.
